FWIW, I have a fantasy squad on yahoo with only Reds players. The only guy I don't have is Hamilton, as a kick in the groin. Lost him thru waivers, yada yada... Where do you guys get the lineups when I've seen them on here 3 hours before first pitch? It helps me to put in either Ross or Valentin, believe it or not...

The only thing worse than Grande is Grande combined with Chris Welsh. I feel like checking Sportscenter at 11 sometimes, rather than sit through the madness. Nice guys, probably...Sports analysts they are not

Coffey is officially toast. Just to think, a couple of days ago I was advocating him getting a shot a closing. He is suffering from Nuke LaLoosh syndrome:
"Don't think meat, just throw the ball." I could see the gerbils turning the wheels right before that change up to Scott. Javy called for it and it was probably the right call after 5 straight fastballs, but not straight and right down the middle. He needs to make a trip to AAA to clear his head or be relegated to mop up duty only. I'm still for firing Hume, something has to give and I don't think trading for some mediocre relievers or bringing up someone that isn't ready is the answer.

Well Coffey officially has no confidence in any pitch he has besides that fastball..

That is the problem with the bullpen, not one of them has an out pitch to sit guys down...

Just another wasted quality start from one of our starters...Nice combined effort between Dunn and Gonzalez to try and win the game, but when the Bullpen can't come in and close the door it doesnt matter...

BTW someone tell Narron that Phillips is not a 4 hole hitter...:!

I can't believe Narron keeps sending Stanton out there. Wait, yes I can. Dumbass Jerry, the guy sucks. Coutlangus can't be any worse as a situational lefty. Fuck that. Where the fuck is Jesse Orosco?

And buy a fucking clue already. For his career, lefties bat .348 (!!!!) (.412 this season!) off of Coffey. Either pitch around Luke Fucking Scott or get Coffey the fuck out of the game.

And Lohse gets the loss last night. If I'm a starter for this team, I'm spiking the bullpen's dinner with morphine. They'd be more useful unconscious in the clubhouse than they are on the mound.

Can't say I disagree with any of this...

I am all for giving guys like Salmon and Coutlangus chances to pitch in the close ballgames...Coffey has proven he can't do it and same with Stanton.

They did say last night that Bray is somewhat close to coming back...When he does I am all for sending Stanton packing...

What kills me is Narron's ADD suffering ass cant fill out a lineup card the same way twice all year but he cements a rotation in the pen and won't get off it no matter how bad the performance. What's the worst that can happen by using Salmon and Cooter late in a game? They get shelled?! So fucking what Jerry, your scrappy vets are getting killed out there, you have in house talent to possibly help why not at least try them?

Firing JN won't fix the Reds but he deserves it for the shitty lineups, the horrible pen usage and his inability to get the team to play smart, fundamentally sound baseball. I don't blame him for the teams overall lack of talent, especially in the pen, which brings me to my next point.

After JN's gone BC better be giving a big fucking "Your Next" stare to WK to let him know spending a large amount of time and money on a bullpen to make it possibly worse than it was before simply isn't acceptable. I don't expect a miracle turnaround from WK in only 18 months on the job but I damn sure don't expect regression either.

You mean the same Stanton that WK saw fit to give a contract extension to? Like his buddies Coffey, Weathers and Rheal bad Cormier?

I like some of the things WK has done but his utter butchering of the pen and some of his contract extensions leave me absolutely perplexed. I am honestly not sure if he's the right guy and believe me I want him to be.
