RB/WR Curtis Samuel (Buffalo Bills)

2 carries isn't enough for Samuel at RB, the staff needs to get him involved as a change of pace. Sad to think he didn't line up really at all at RB in the 1st 3 games. Shows how much the adapting of play calling is taking to get used to. WMU's looked shocked when his speed hit the second level as they misgauged his speed. Everyone clamoring for touches for Zeke and Braxton, should be clamoring for Samuel as he's been the most electric of our playmakers when we can get the ball to him. 4 plays of over 25 yards through 4 weeks with not many down field targets.

I don't get the crying over Zeke not having 35 carries. I do agree we should be running the ball more, but it's Samuel that should be getting more carries out of the RB position. Zeke should be right where he is, roughly 15-20 carries. Samuel should have another 12-15.

Samuel is explosive as hell, but let's not get carried away. I don't see his best position on the field as being the bell-cow running back that Zeke has demonstrated he can be. I'd hate to see any of Samuel's explosiveness get blunted by excessive use from the TB position.

Zeke is a workhorse with explosion. Samuel is just flat-out ordnance. Let's appreciate both excellent players for what they are.

I'd love to just see Samuel as the back up RB who gets 8 touches a game. It's more than he gets now by double and it then takes 8 passing attempts away from CJ who is not even in our top 5 as offensive play makers IMO.

Funny thing is UFM talks about being sick he can't get our best players the ball but does he realize he's allowing CJ when throwing to take away those touches? Like Urban said if you can't find them then hand them the ball. If you run the ball with Samuel to spell Zeke and then run motion plays with Braxton or Dontre then that cuts down on what Is asked of CJ.

run it 45 times a game and throw another 20 (we average 65 plays this year) because you can always give the other 20 carries a game to Samuel or Braxton after zeke gets his 25.
