Will have to agree to disagree on this one, but I see your point as well and either way, we have a good problem ahead of us. I simply don't see Samuel being strong enough to replace the snaps that Zeke provided when looking for an every down RB to push the defense every snap and wear them down late into games. I think Weber is simply better suited for that - that is still the foundation of our offense. The additional 15-20 pounds that Weber provides, while Samuel is certainly at adequate weight at 200, is a benefit in that role.
I think Samuel is so much more effective in space, when he has the ability to use his vision and quickness to create explosive plays. I hear you on Dontre Wilson, but truly think he has been surpassed by Samuel at this point and has proven to be a little less effective than many thought he would be. I hope I'm wrong, love the kid, but think he's a little smaller and could be used more situationally in the future. I think Campbell becomes an inside WR next season w/some snaps at H-Back to spell Samuel.
Of course all of this is contingent on Weber being healthy. If he is not, then I agree Samuel becomes a bigger factor at RB1. I think Dunn is #2 regardless for many reasons.
I share your concerns regarding the early Oklahoma game, but my bigger concerns there are on the defensive side. That's another discussion for another day lol.
