I get that impression when I watch Smith. I really enjoy watching him run the ball and I think he has a ton of talent. It's therefore pretty upsetting that he can't seem to hang on to the ball; his opportunities will always be limited until that is corrected.
And pt will be harder to come by in the future with Elliott and Marshall coming in.

Hopefully he doesn't get put back into the doghouse because he is needed in the backfield. As great as Hyde has been, Rod seems to bring speed that Hyde doesn't have for both being big powerful backs. I love the one two punch of Hyde and Smith pounding on defenses the whole game.
