After his long TD run to open the second half, in the end zone he tried to lift Elflein, could barely budge him, and then basically went "Ah, fuck it" and trotted away...

I know they really like Samuel but man I wish they would give Mikey 15-20 touches per game. He just seems like the guy that will wear a defense out by the 4th quarter.
It's crazy IMO to run Samuel between the tackles when you could be doing it with Weber. I just look at this offense and can't help but think how hard we would be to defend if we motioned Samuel into the backfield and did one of 3 things when Weber/Samuel are both standing on JTs side
1. Run Weber on the dive
2. Run a sweep with Samuel (with a lead block from Weber no less)
3. Lead QB ISO with Barrett
To me taking one out and replacing with the other gives us nothing. It just makes it predictable.

Not really... There's threats to go right, left or forward.True, but it also puts all of our playmakers in one place. That allows teams like Wisconsin and MSU to slant and crash hard at the snap to the QB. Along the way, you'll run to where the ball is going in all of those instances.
