RB Maurice Wells (Official Thread)

I totally agree. And also, keep in mind that we don't even know what to expect from Herron at this point. It would be unfair (and unwise I believe) to throw him into a real game situation without getting any reps, even if only in garbage time.

If we are just trying to run out the clock in garbage time, I would assume Henton would come in and run some draws and sneaks like we did against washington.

Wells hard probably, his best game yesterday, and is showing more explosion and confidence. He's still small and gets tackled by one guy some times.
YUpper taos , he is now running with an attitude I think and it shows. He knows this is has chance to get to the NFL and I can see it in him.

Wells has continued to be patient and is finding more and more holes because of it...He Still misses holes, here and there...And they are also finding more ways to get him the ball in space...
true to all CBF40. I have noticed they are drawing up plays just to get him some holes and space. I noticed a nice counter draw yesterday. But mainly I have noticed that he is on a mission this year.

I think he should cut his hair --- now wait a minute, hear me out --- because as a small guy he should be hard to see back there behind the lineman, but with all that Polamalu hair flying around he is EASY to find.

Plus, it looks like it slows him down. Crazy I know.

In any case, I'm happy to see him having a good season so far and being a contributor.

Go Buckeyes!

I also would not mind a haircut! I struggle to find any sort of benefit, while I can think of other reasons not to have it. Maybe we're both crazy.

Notice that Tressel gave him the ball on the first play after we recovered the bolcked punt near NW's goal line, which was the first offensive play we ran after Mo fumbled it away? Tressel at least believed Mo wouldn't drop it again, whereas last year or 2005 he wouldn't have given Mo that second chance...

He has to run up the middle or he wouldn't even be able to run outside either if the D knew he was going there. JT and the boys know they have to get him open space. On the other hand his 1 yard TD was right up the gut, the O line just mowed em down for him.
