RB Lydell Ross (official thread)

If you go back to Bucknutty's original post above, click on the link, then click on the "right" arrow, and in the next picture, there's a better shot of Lydell with the helmet off. It's definitely him.

As for flipping off the photographer while putting his helmet on, I don't know if he has the SKILLS to do that!!

Aw, just funnin', Lydell. I hope you go crazy next time you get in a game, if you get the chance. Just be a MANIAC, man!!!

Lydell cleared

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Ohio State's top rusher, Lydell Ross, was cleared Thursday of allegations that he passed fake in-house currency at a local all-nude strip club hours after the team's loss at Iowa last month.<!-- END INLINE UNIT -->

Ross had been named in a complaint filed by Pure Platinum after he allegedly handed a dancer at the club $50 worth of fake or stolen Pure Platinum bills to pay for a dance Oct. 17.

The bills Ross gave the dancer did not have registration numbers and she turned them in to club owners.

The complaint was investigated by Columbus police who determined that the Pure Platinum bills in question might have been old, unmarked bills printed by a previous owner.

Ross was suspended for the Indiana game and was in uniform but did not play last week against Penn State. Coach Jim Tressel said Ross would likely play this week at Michigan State.

Yeah, I remember already him saying that Hall and Joe would carry the bulk of the carries this week, with Pittman and Ross getting a few.

Glad to see a Buckeye's name cleared of any wrong-doing. I bet Gameday won't talk about this now though to clear the air.

Seems like this whole incident was a publicity stunt as much as anything else. Oh well, worked out well for Pittman and Hall...

I really wish Lydell would have had a J. Wells type breakout year.
And I really thought he was going to...J Wells/Wiley style...
