RB Ezekiel Elliott (All B1G, All-American, National Champion, Pro Bowl, All Pro, Dallas Cowboys)

Way to blame the coaches, Zeke.

Public stupidity is never your friend.
How many of us wish athletes just told it like it is... I'm so tired of the stupid "ah we just didn't execute" retort that these players spit out when they lose. Certainly he could've not pointed a finger but he had a valid point it wasn't like he was lying. He was upset that in his final game he was given 11 opportunities to touch the ball.

More disappointing to me though? Braxton will never be in the shoe again and we got him the ball 2 or so times.

Zeke's thoughts are spot on as much as many don't agree about the forum he spoke in,

It turns out Zeke spent 3 days in a hospital this week, which most likely influenced the amount of activity the coaches gave him. The bigger issue to me was the inability to get anything going in the passing game.

Re: "Honestly, this is my last game in the Shoe," Elliott said. "I mean, there's no chance of me coming back next year."

I think we knew that before this season even started.

Re: There was a chance Elliott might not have been able to play at all against the Spartans. He revealed after the game that he spent three days in the hospital dealing with a scratch on his leg that had become infected and left him in so much pain that he couldn't walk on Monday.

Now I didn't know that.

Re: "Honestly, I can't speak for the play calling. I don't know what was going on. I don't know what they were seeing. But honestly, it didn't work out. It wasn't working. ... I've got to make the most of my time left, and I just want to thank Buckeye Nation for making this place so special, and I'm sorry about tonight."

He has always been a "classy guy" and still is.

After more thought I think this shows how much he cares for this school.. he knows this offensive performance with what they had coming back was not excusable. How you facilitate change is you identify the problem and you fix it

You don't fix your problems with "ah it'll be ok we just need to execute".

His honesty does nothing but give us the tools to pay extra attention to that when evaluating ourselves after the season
