It would be great in one way to see Zeke get 3000 yards on 30 carrys per game and win two Heismans this year. But realistically that's not what's best for him or this team. There is no need on a team this talented to wear him out by the end of this season (when competition picks up) or to shorten any pro career with extra wear/tear against crap teams. Feed Zeke against Hawaii? Crazy talk.

Honestly if Zeke can keep up a 100+ yards per game average, but still gets 2-3 TDs a game he still has a legit shot at getting the Heisman. Its not always about stats or guys like Tim Chang (Hawaii) would have won it. His blocking and high speed motor is a big factor in the way he will be perceived to the Heisman committee. Ohio State wins out and Zeke doesn't have any turnover issues and he will be a top 3 contender.

Colt Brennan?

Brennan also threw for 9,754 TD's (exaggerated number) the year Tebow(?) won the Heisman (could've been one of the Alabama RB's) and was invited to New York.
Just pointing out why SERE mentioned Timmy Chang and stats. I think Change was also a Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award finalist.

Mid Majors aren't taken seriously come Heisman time, so that's kind of a non-starter.
Stats do matter w/the Heisman. That's been gone over before -- it's all about the video game stats these days. Whoever has the most wins and most obscene numbers on offense tends to get it.
