I think most don't see that in Boom. He is all Buckeye, though and a great kid.
I have to agree. I think Boom might develop into a solid back in the NFL, but given the structure of the draft, I can't imagine him being drafted in that position even though he may develop into it.

I agree that Boom will run harder than we have ever seen him run before. He will be pressing for carries with the younger guys already ready to go in the fold. He has the physical attributes to really make a solid come back and contribution to this team next year.

And there was a chorus of similar comments regarding Jordan Hall once he got first team carries. Unsurprisingly, those confident proclamations stopped being rehashed once he got those carries and Boom ran better than him.
Maybe the backups will tear it up. That would be wonderful, although a tough assignment considering the circumstances and quarterback they'll be playing with.

I think Boom would make a great captain, but agree that there's no way Tress makes him a captain after suspending for a portion of the season.
And no, there's no way Boom is a 1st round pick, not even close. Even in a probably weak RB class, he's a mid round guy, like Pittman. Will be a solid backup and special teams guy, but he's not a starter in the league, But a very good college player who will always have a job and options in C-bus once his NFL career is up
