Boom has proven me (and a lot of people) wrong. He really turned it on and proved that he can carry the load when he gets the chance. Can't wait to see him crack a few Hog skulls.

Kiper has Boom as his no. 2 RB for the 2012 draft....

Analysis: Herron will be affected in various ways by his five-game suspension. James is slight for NFL running backs, but he is shifty and will command attention. Brandon Bolden could emerge as the year rolls on, as could Martin -- both are solid pass-catchers out of the backfield, as well.

very interesting...but when you think about it..Boom has had a lot of experience in college football. He has played significant time since his RS freshman year. He is a very dependable back that has great power and shiftiness. While I think #2 is a little high, I still think he will be a late first round draft pick.
