Garfield senior tailback Chris Wells, an Ohio State recruit, leads the Rams with 1,779 rushing yards on 187 carries. He is second in the area behind Carter (2,159) in rushing yards and fourth in scoring with 23 touchdowns. Carter has 37.
Wells has 319 yards rushing and 4 td's through three quarters against Buchtel.
