RB Chris "Beanie" Wells (All B1G, All-American)

I was at the game and onething all buckeyes fans are going to love about him is his speed and juke moves.

He made some db's look pathetic.

He had all four td's and 3 longer then 45.

There is onething that he has to do, he might need better training or nutrition but, he goes out of the game about everyother play. It looks like cramps or spasms but, then he goes backs in and picks up alot of yards .He's been doing that since last year.

He could be the best back ever at OSU easily.if he stays healthy.

My own thoughts about him at osu is a clarett power runner with robert smith speed and moves. He is faster then those secondary boys from butchel that were a part of there state track relay teams. He blew by them and they gave up on him thats how fast he is.:) I'm going to love that AKRON COMBO next year at OSU. pittmen and wells

Not to be too nitpicky, but the Akron Beacon Journal says 355 yards on 36 carries and scored four touchdowns (72, 4, 78, 53)

We're not going to see another back in life like Chris Wells,'' (Buchtel coach Claude Brown said.

`Nobody can ever question his heart. He got pounded, taking several hits on each carry, but he put on a show and showed why he's going to Ohio State," (Garfield Coach Bob) Sax said.

Its great to see Chris Wells stick with it even with the lack of talent around him, and still put up amazing numbers. But most of all, it is a relief to see him safely make it through his senior year, without suffering any major injuries...

When you have a kid like C. Wells coming in, it takes all of the recruiting misses and makes you forget about them. They say a running back can only do so much with a poor supporting cast, that was before they met Mr. Wells though.

Just realized something watching teh Rams play today. Steven Jackson is all of 6'2" 230... pretty much what Chris is. I don't know Jackson's speed, but he is destroying NFL defenses this year. For all the greats Chris has been compared to, why not a more modern runner in Jackson?

What a great way to end his high school career. 355 yards rushing in his final high school game? That's ridiculous!

Chris is planning on enrolling early, correct?
