I'm actually kinda shocked he's having both Chris AND the Glenville Connection in on the SAME weekend. Heavy artillary, indeed!!

Some of our top uncommitted's are in this weekend (Glenville trio, Adjepong, Hill, Larimore, and now Thomas). This is our biggest recruiting weekend for this year (outside of the Texas game at least).

Well he is bringing out the big guns, I think he is bringing in Wells b/c of the fact Thomas and Browning will then understand more of who they will be blocking for. The top running back in the country. I know that would excite me if I was an o-line recruit.

22- I guess what was so surprising to me was that I've been considering the Glenville boys as good as committed already. I saw us bringing in Glenville for one big weekend, and C-Wells for the other big weekend, but throwing them all in together works too!
CB40- After I found out that Thomas was visiting, that was the FIRST thing I thought of. I've thought (since he reaffirmed his commitment to Pitt) that we had absoluetly NO chance at landing Thomas. With Wells going for the official, we definetly have a chance. Smart move by JT

According to the OHSAA.org site, here are Chris' final stats for this season (all divisions):
11th in scoring (27 TDs, 162 points)
2nd in rushing yards (2134 on 223 carries = 9.56ypc)
You can only imagine if he played for say St. X, Colerain, or someone with a line to block for him.

If I am wrong correct me, but won't Wells already be on campus in January to help with the other big recruiting weekend in early January? That could have been the logic with having him come this weekend to do double duty!
