RB Chris "Beanie" Wells (All B1G, All-American)

Very Selfish... IMO. I mean I understand why you want him to stay but why if someone is injury prone would you want him to come back? For our entertainment? We'll have some backs step up next year so Beanie is/should be gone at the year end.

Don't take it personal. I doubt this person is wishing him harm. We all want Beanie to excel in college and the NFL. When the latter happens we will all want him to succeed.

Oh I'm not taking anything personal... Yes having beanie back would be sweet. But maybe just saying "That'd be tight if beanie came back" instead of "HOPEFULLY his injury will make him stay an extra year"... I just question the "HOPEFULLY" part.... I just want to see Chris get his and to be honest I would like I already have said sick to my stomach if he comes back next year.

I mean every gme already I hold my breath everytime he goes to the carpet ( I wish I could say grass). The guy's taking a beating and he needs to get his money ASAP.

props to Beanie for another great game yesterday. That stiff-arm continues to amaze me. when he is running in the open field and being pursued i find myself to start yelling for the stiff-arm before he does it.

would love to see him come back for his Senior year.

I believe you're off your rocker. I believe I've already wasted my "Beanie isn't staying" post for the week on a Sunday.

I think I'm going to start countering your negative mojo.

Beanie will stay for revenge on USC. Even if we play them in the Rose Bowl, that won't be enough. He wants to whoop them at THEIR place. So you are hearing it here first....

Beanie will remain at tOSU until we play USC @ USC agian. Maybe twenty years.

Since BN27 has already used his rebuttal, I now have the floor.

I was thinking Beanie would go if he put up decent enough numbers, even after the injuries.

However, some of the comments he's made in the past about his commitment to the school, paired with TP's progress at QB, has me thinking the Beanie is contemplating really hard about coming back. This team really has the chance to be one of the best back fields in the nation next year with Beanie and TP. It is actually one of the better cores THIS year. I honestly don't know if he'll come back or not, and honestly I'm holding out hope for him to return. He still has a shot in the last two games to break 1,000 yards, but he may not reach that milestone this year because of his toe. I think this is really a motivational tool for this kid. He's knows what it means to be a Buckeye. He wants to bring another Heisman to the program, he wants to become a top tOSU running back, and he is, but he wants no doubts. 20 years in the future will people be talking about how Beanie put up less than 1,000 yards his junior year (yes, we know about the toe) after he put up more than 1,600 his soph year, then bolts for the NFL? Like I said, I don't know whats going to happen, and everyone is going to have their own opinion, so I'm not trying to slight or jab anyone, just my personal thoughts. I can see his reasons for going after this year, and I can see reasons for returning.

Having seen the great Keith Byers play, I can honestly say that Beanie is better. Beanie hasn't had the benefit of the offensive line that Byers had.
And Beanie still makes plays that amaze and separate him form so many very good Ohio State running backs. Enjoy and remember him and his devastating stiff arm, Buckeye fans.
He is a very, very special player!

bingo and by the way.I posted this and I've known it since last year that Beanies junior season would be his last as a buckeye player. Nothing has changed back here in Akron .I wish but, it won't happen. If Pittman can why can't Beanie.
