RB Chris "Beanie" Wells (All B1G, All-American)

Just think about what Beanie could do with lighter shoes and two good feet

It's great to see him running over people again and breaking long runs these first two games back. Hope he keeps it up and expect him to.

Did anyone else see the article in the Dispatch where Beanie said no matter what happened this year he would be back for his senior season? I know a lot of players say that and then bolt for that NFL $$$, and I am not so sure that he shouldn't do the same. I have to believe he would be one of the and possibly the first RB taken. Lets face it he is the prototype NFL back. That being said.... I really hope he wants to come back to avenge the USC loss, win a NC and get a Heisman.

Beanie looked great last night. I heard/saw some of the post game interviews, and Beanie said his foot was killing him, and he probably would not be able to walk today, what a warrior. It would be great to see him back in the S&G next year, but if he decides taking the money is best for him, that would be fine as well, and he'll go down as one of my favorite Buckeyes of all time.

Yea it would be great to see him back, I think there would naturally be a piece of him that would really want to come back. When he says "no matter what happens" though he probably was not counting on another injury.

Second game back still injured wearing bad shoes and he runs for 168yds and 1 TD on 21 carries.

Just realized how awesome that is. As he physically gets better he should be able to get more carries and hopefully more TDS. This just goes to show how much of a beast Wells is and how much of an impact he would've had against other teams if healthy. IMO he would be at the head of the Heisman race if not injured early.

Sorry Eddie George and others, but I think last night solidified for me that he is currently the 2nd best RB in Ohio State history.

What a talent, and if he comes back for another year he just might get knocking on Archie's door. Even without 2 heismans

Yes. Wow indeed. I will gladly request a transfer of 500,000 vcash to whomever first comes up with that in a .gif.
Check this out. Easy peasy. File size is a bit much for sigs, though.

It was during the off season... maybe 3 or 4 months ago but I am positive that is what he said. That even if he would win the Heisman and the Bucks won the NC he was coming back for his senior campaign. That he loved college and was having a great time and the NFL would be there when he was ready. I know it is wishful thinking and all and things change when a ton of money falls into your lap but I think next years team could be really special with Beanie and a little more experienced TP along with block O.

Ohio State tailback Chris “Beanie” Wells, coming off the top sophomore rushing season in school history, said after a spring practice this afternoon that he intends to remain in school for the long run.
There has been speculation that Wells, who racked up 1,609 yards last season while establishing his name as Heisman Trophy candidate for 2008, might choose to leave for the NFL after three seasons at OSU. When asked whether he could see this being his last season at OSU, though, he was adamant with his answer.
“No, it’s not going to be my last year,” Wells said. “I plan on being here four years.”

“I honestly (think about it) all the time, I’m not going to sit here and tell you I don’t,” he said. “I thought about the Heisman (in) my 10th-grade year. Me and my father were sitting in the living room and I told him I wanted to be the first freshman to win the Heisman. That didn’t happen, so, you know, I just want to get it, honestly.”

“When somebody talks about Ohio State and the great players, I want my name to be mentioned,” he said. “We have guys like Archie (Griffin), we have Eddie George, we have Keith Byars, Antonio Pittman. And those are great guys, don’t get me wrong, but I want my name to be at the top.”

Best I got so far... but that is from the dispatch article I read.
