RB Chris "Beanie" Wells (All B1G, All-American)

that video on ESPiN was quite uplifting...

JT mentions about Beanie being in the weight room and telling him he "feels great"...

So if the X-ray is negative and the MRI is clean, give him a couple days earned rest. And lets get ready for USC!

Seen the video, which was pretty cool from ESPN. Go Bucks :osu: and trust the coaches on the foot.

Which is more tolerable to play on, a mid-grade sprain of the ankle, or a mid-grade big toe tendon tear? I used to high-sprain an ankle nearly every year in college playing basketball, never dealt with the toe. Was just curious what's easier to get some compression/tape or a shoe alteration on to deal with the problem.

Idk, I had a broken pinky toe one time... so when I would walk, run or play football I would use the left side of my foot more. The only bitch was balance - I would imagine its somewhat same.

Other than the fact that The Beanie is a freak of nature and could probably deal with it.

Yes, by all accounts his pain tolerance is insanely high. Which makes the manner in which he went down all the more scary. I seem to think a lot of the way in which he went to the turf had to do with shock than unreal pain (though I'm not discounting that whatever it was hurt like a b&^%$. If you hear something pop, you're going to be scared to death to put any additional weight on it until your trusted training staff tell you it's ok.

Curious B_I_C how much crap are you getting in Cali right now rooting for the best team in the land?

Also yeah Beanie is a beast so im not worried one bit! (begind random chuck norris jokes)

When beanie Wells runs, he actually doesnt move, the speed and force he uses actually pushes the earth beneath him.

Last few days the trash talk started coming my way. SC fans didn't want to say anything until they had seen the UVA game. After that, it's been pretty ridiculous. The local media is also unbearable. Fortunately, the guy I hear the most crap from is a really good friend of mine so it's much more tolerable. He's basically an SC fan until Chargers games start. I didn't hear a peep out of him about SC last year until the Rose bowl. His tune this year has changed dramatically from a month ago. A month back it was, "this is going to be a great game." Now it's, "SC by 3 TDs." One UVA outing will do that for their fanbase. Fortunately last season's Stanford loss serves as all the ammunition I need whenever I'm faced with, "ready to see your Buckeyes demolished in 2 weeks?" With which I can retort, "Just like those Cardinals last year at home?" It's simple, effective. I'm not a trash talker, but I won't hesitate to shoot something back.
