First off, as an Ohio State football fan, I wish Beanie the best in his recovery from the injury. I agree with many of the other posters in that I hope he does not rush his return, although i certainly understand his wanting to get back onto the field to help this team.
With that being said, I think one positive of this injury is that it should force a lot of the veteran and younger players to elevate their game even further. Our "workhorse" may be down temporarily, so, it's time for the rest of the group to really focus and put 100% effort into each and every practice, film study, and game.
I'm in no way saying that the rest of the roster does not work hard to begin with, but, I'm hoping this injury forces this team to expand on it's abilities without Beanie Wells, and gives guys like Herron, Saine, Mo Wells, Pryor, Lamaar Thomas, and Posey an opportunity to show what they can do on their own.
I think we will see a solid outing by the Bucks this Saturday vs OU. I'm hoping to see some extended action (and game experience) by several of the players listed above.
