RB Chris "Beanie" Wells (All B1G, All-American)
He's 100% overall.
On that lovely note, I'd love to see him make a few more catches out of the backfield. That wheel route against LSU was great simply because the threat of Beanie having nobody on him...

I'm giddy.

the coaches hope to use him more in the passing game.

The NCAA needs to rule on this because it is just unfair. Beanie only caught 5 passes last season for 21 yards. He had no catches in the last four games, no games with more than one catch and no catches for more than 8 yards. To see him as a serious threat out of the backfield is gonna be flat fun to watch.

See you on the ESPN boards, Elitist pri cks!

"Elitist Pricks" is my favorite fetish site.

'Beanie' ready to get back in action

By Tim May
The Columbus Dispatch

Monday, August 04, 2008
COLUMBUS ? When No. 3 Ohio State takes the field for its first practice of the preseason today, Aug. 4, Chris "Beanie" Wells plans to lead the way for the running backs, and not just because he's considered one of the players to watch for the Heisman Trophy.
Being allowed to do everything everybody else does on the practice field will be a refreshing change, Wells said. He had been relegated to the no-contact end of the field during spring drills while recovering from surgery on his left wrist.
"That was really tough, because a guy like myself wants to be on the field at all times," Wells said. "It was just a down moment."
