I really like Howard, but IMO he wouln't be getting an offer unless we have an extra scholarship and want to give it to him.

He definetly deserves an offer though.

I know you probably didn't mean it this way, but getting Rod Smith is not "just settling."

It wasn't. I meant it more of "are we settling for one RB or would be willing to take a second?"

I think we all know Roderick Smith is definitely NOT "settling" lol

I just don't see him moving out of FB. Zach Boren has terrific hands which has come in handy for us this season. His blocking needs work.....but he has steadily improved over the year. It would be a good contest for the position if the coaching staff decides that Carlos should play FB at tOSU.

I don't see this happening. Hyde is simply too talented toting the ball to move to fullback.

I would love for him to move as FB, personally, only with the fullback getting carries in this offense. With the depth we have in the backfield, IMO if we have a RB and FB on the field at the same time, they should both be threats to carry and catch the ball. I believe we have the talent for that to happen.
