According to twitter, USC just offered Dunn a scholarship today, and with their reductions, they are only looking for one RB.

RenaldWilson Renald Wilson
@DustinFox37 USC in today. Offered Dunn. Only taking one TB and he's their guy.

Apparently Wilson is a GlenOak coach.

Still think it has to be down to UM-OSU, and I think he will pick OSU in the end. But good luck to him wherever he ends up.

:osu:

USC already has a RB commit from a juco guy and two offers out to other high school RB's that are still uncommitted.

Dunn goes to my alma mater, would love to get him. He has always wanted to play for Ohio State, but I could see him going to Michigan now that Meyer is here. He wants to play in a pro style offense and we simply can't offer that to him here.

Its funny. What is and isn't "pro style" is not as clear as it used to be. Watch the Patriots, Saints and Packers, arguably the three best teams in the National Football League. They all spread it out with 3 and 4 wide, utilizing their running backs out of the shotgun.

With someone as talented as Dunn, you find a way to make it work. And for Dunn, the style of offense shouldn't be as important as being assured that his talents can be showcased for the NFL. In other words, if he wants to be a Buckeye, he'll be a Buckeye. If he doesn't, he'll be a Wolverine. The style of offense, NCAA sanctions or even promises of early playing time are probably secondary to all of that.

If you think Michigan is going to run a pro style offense next year with Robinson in his senior year, you're kidding yourself. Then, you've got Gardner waiting in the wings. Again, not a pro style QB. Michigan may switch over to a pro style offense someday, but the way they've recruited QBs, it won't be until after Dunn is long gone from college.

If Dunn wants to play in an offense that he is made for go to wisky....if not then tOSU. Ttun wont be running a pro set offense anytime soon. If he believes his talents are that great he will play wherever he goes. Go Bucks
