That's a big frame for a freshman. Pretty impressive highlight tape. I like the way he finds the gap and gets downhill. Shifty, but trucks people. Also, he catches the ball pretty well from what was shown. For only a freshman, he looked pretty darn good. He is going to be a big namer for sure.

Looks/built like Eddie. :yow2:

Plays similar, too; Eddie was the first guy I thought of after watching him run. My take:

RB Brionte Dunn - Reminds me of Eddie George; pretty darn good receiver downfield in addition to his running ability; looks very lanky but maintains a good pad level, carrying tacklers at times and shrugging them off at others; should most likely be a four star or better if he doesn't grow out of being a running back, which might be a legitimate concern given his being 6'1 - 225 as a freshman; good vision; north-south runner; probably 4.55 or so.

This kid seriously could be as big as Beanie. If those are even inflated a little bit, they are probably still fairly close. I would not be surprised in the least to see Brionte grow to be as big as Beanie 6'2" 235... absolutely devastating to the defense.

The Northeastern Buckeye Conference will be well represented in tonight's two Division II sectional championship games at the Canton Field House.

Minerva (20-1) will meet Louisville (13-7) in the 6:15 opener, followed by Alliance (16-5) and Marlington (14-7) squaring off around 8.

Alliance and Marlington split its regular-season series.

Continued...

The other Alliance starters are 5-11 senior guard Quintin Banks, 6-3 senior Dartez Colbert, 6-2 junior forward Dominique Cooper and 6-0 junior forward Darell Jones, with 5-10 senior guard Za-vaughn Lilly, 6-1 freshman center Brionte Dunn, 6-0 senior forward Logan Nordquist and 6-0 sophomore guard Chavas Young used as replacements.

"They've changed their lineup since we first played them," Evanich said. "They're starting Dominique Cooper, using Za-vaughn Lilly off the bench and added Brionte Dunn and Chavas Young to their rotation."

Jesus. While the Lewis kid didn't look as big as his reported weight and height, this kid looks very big for a frosh, although still maybe not as big as reported. Still, though, kid looks like a junior.

Looks like there could be some big time RBs in Ohio come 2012.

Hi! I'm a grad from Alliance and still go to root for my Aviators. Brionte was great to watch this season. I believe his frist start on varsity was week 3 against Canfield. He has a big run in that game that ended up helping Alliance take it into overtime and to get the W. He had over 100 yards rushing in that game, plus Alliance also used him as the slot receiver at times. He is going to be the #1 back next season for Alliance. He did have a fumbling problem last season. Fumbled in like 4 straight games, but he is a freshman and that can be fixed.

I'm already excited for next season just so I can see how Brionte progresses into his Sophmore season. Not sure how good Alliance will be though, but I expect him to have a big part of the offense. I'm hoping he goes to some camps this summer because I would love to see somebody from my alma matter playing for tOSU.

GO BUCKS!!
:oh:
