RB Bri'onte Dunn (dismissed from team)

a bowl ban possibility would make him nervous too.

Not sure how Tressel's violation would warrant a bowl ban, seeing it was one that didn't give the team a competitive advantage. Even so, I'd like to think that a prospect wouldn't base his decision on possibly missing one bowl game out of a four-year hitch.

Not sure I follow, but are you saying playing in-eligible players does not give the team a competitive advantage? So if Bauserman played instead of TP2, there is no difference? :!

Back to Bri'Onte, he would fit well in OSU offense, however, he might not get much playtime as long as the big dogg, Roderick Smith is in the house.

Usually when they talk about "a comptetitive advantage", they're talking about getting something you otherwise wouldn't have (using crooked methods to get recruits, using comm equipment on the sidelines not provided to the opponent, etc.).

I love it when posters state that someone that has never played a down in an Ohio State uniform is "the big dogg".

I am happy to have Rod Smith. I will be happy to have Dunn. However, neither of them has proven anything on the field to date to warrant that they are the guy.

Only if we are talking about the 2009 Purdue game...:smash:

Yeah, back to Dunn.

According to D Biddle, Dunn's main concerns are Tressel being fired and a bowl ban.

Sounds like we should have our answer in August then.

Bingo. If there were a bowl ban and it was for only one season, it wouldn't even affect Brionte...the only thing left would be Tressel's future.

The interesting thing to me is that, according to my understanding, Tressel's future at tOSU is short anyway...regardless of whether he were to be fired. Seemed like he planned on retiring in the relatively near future anyway.

His current contract runs through 2014...
