Brionte Dunn: A 6-1, 222-pounder from Canton, OH, who has given a verbal commitment to Ohio State. He is a big, bruising back who gets many of his yards after initial contact. Was named to the Division I all-Ohio first team as a junior.
Dunn may appear to be a classic Ohio State, ?3 yards and a cloud of dust? tailback and he certainly can fill that role. After all, he did average nearly 36 carries per game last season, racking up two thousand yards and 22 touchdowns in the process. However, he is also a true game breaker that is a threat to score from anywhere on the field. He may not be running away from defenders when he does like a Keith Marshall would be but they still have to catch him and bring him down. With his burst, there will be ground to make up and with his power there will be many who cannot. When you couple these physical abilities with Dunn?s tremendous grit and toughness, you get a truly special player. One we consider in the discussion for a coveted 5 star rating and top 5 position ranking.

I should have been more specific; how much has the recent troubles caused this, or do we know? Not a cliff-jumper, just curious what sort of recruiting hit we may take.BuckeyeMike80;1896628; said:Eh - let him figure it out on his own and don't over-react to it.
It's his future, he should take his time since he has it and explore his options.

As loaded as we are right now and with two more potential 5* (Ball/Dunn) on their way, that's to be expected. There's only one ball and there is a TON of talent here. We might have the best stable of RB in the country right now and it's only gonna be better next year if both Ball & Dunn end up here. Everybody talked about the talent usc used to load up with, this will rival anything they ever had.osugrad21;1896634; said:I will be shocked if he does not end up in Columbus.
Edit: On a side note, Hoke is selling a run-based pro offense. Rod Smith, depth chart..expect some RB hits. However, I don't see Dunn as that hit right now.
