It's really too bad but I don't blame him at all. He was underappreciated in this offense. The now infamous "fourth and one" call by Tressel is evidence of that. Pittman didn't see a carry that entire series. I know Chris Wells is our future, but Pittman is a more polished back right now and shouldn't be losing series to a frosh. He would only continue to lose more carries if he came back. I think he will be an excellent NFL back and a complete steal for someone in the late first/early second round.

CLEVELAND -- Ted Ginn Jr. and Antonio Pittman announced Monday that they will be giving up their senior year at Ohio State to enter the NFL Draft.

where does everyone think pittman will go ? i'd think he'd prolly be a mid to late 2nd rounder. theres just a few RBs in this draft who will go before him (peterson, lynch, hunt)

My favorite runs were the Fiesta Bowl run against Notre Dame and his announcement of his power when he ran through that Illinois defensive back for a 16 yard touchdown last year.

Pitt, you gave us a lot of good memories. Long may you run!

If you watch the entire video, Pitt said his first choice was Michigan. Schollie didn't come early enough from them. However, he stated that he doesn't know if he would have done well with that transition considering how much he comes home. He also said he respects the people in Columbus, however, he never got the credit he deserved. He also said his two favorite memories are the 52-yarder against Michigan and the winning touchdown against Michigan (last year). He said he'll be training in Columbus, that they brought in one of the best trainers available. He said he's hoping to play for "anyone who will give him the opportunity."

What I heard were the values inculcated by Jim Tressel. Here is a young man who remembers the uncle who came to all his games pre-Ohio State, forgives a father who did not really spend much time in his life, loves a mother who did, and decides to be a part of his 5 month-old daughter's life and to support and love her. Here is a young man who speaks to the same values we keep hearing again and again, of giving back to his community.
