RB Antonio Pittman (Official Thread)

Well, I guess the announcement is imminent now. Just want to thank Antonio for a great two+ years...he surpassed many peoples expectations and had a great college career. So many great runs, but who will ever forget that scamper against the Domers in the Fiesta Bowl with none other than Eddie cheering him on. Yes we have Beanie back, but we are really gonna miss Mr. Pittman next season. Thank You Antonio, you're forever a Buckeye, and I suspect you have quite a career in the league ahead of you.:osu:

There's a lot of running backs in this class. I still think that he would be wise to wait a year and shine behind a new quarterback, but if he decides otherwise, good luck and God bless!

My feelings exactly.

Does anyone know what time Pittman or Ginn are going to announce?

as opposed to next season when Slaton, Rice and McFadden may all declare as Juniors?

I disagree. I hate to see Pitman go, but for him to do it now instead of next year would be in his best interest. He's the 2nd best RB in the draft this year (behind only Peterson-assuming Peterson declares) compared to being the third or fourth guy next year. That could be, potentially, a giant drop off in earnings.

I'd love it if Pittman is the second running back taken but I just don't see it happening. Not a knock on Pittman, just a reality check.
