I feel your pain... might have eased the 'SEC speed' talk too. Lost in the beatdown was the pictured TD, where Pittman just flew past three unblocked gators.Big Papa;716873; said:Who would have known that that Pittman kid was such a good runner?? It almost seems like he could have/should have had a few more opportunities?? Sorry, I am sure in the next week or so I will get done beating this dead horse. Call it theraputic.

bukIpower;716929; said:yeah I remember thinking the same thing.. I remember Seein Pittman weave his way to that score and then the Defense getting a 3 and out and thinking.. SHOWTIME BABY.. The coaches for some odd reason went 3 straight passes and the rest was history. I think if we score on that drive make it 21-21 the gators start to calm down and dont' go for the kill instead just tryin to grind it out... if that would've been the case who knows how it would've ended up? It just got outta hand quickly that last couple minutes in the 2nd quarter.

Indeed...putting the game in your Heisman Trophey winner's hands...very confusing. Who knows what would have happened had we had different play calls...but we only question it when it doesn't work. Somehow I think football is a little bit more complicated than, run or pass. The game was not lost on play calling.yep, that was the last great play for the 2006 Buckeyes. The 3 straight pass plays on the following series still leaves me (like many others) confused. We were actually blowing them off the line on the only TD drive, then we decided to just kill that momentum by throwing. That's just bad decisions all around.
