Stick with it, SIMV. And you too, LoKy, what the Hell?

When you get the urge for a smoke, just jerk off. It doesn't matter where you are, just jerk off in public and you won't be worried about the nicotine. :wink2:

damn SIMV we quit on the same day. i quit last Tuesday when i found out my Dad had a mild heart attack. He has to quit and I'm quitting with him. I slipped up for a couple cigarettes saturday. Drinking is bad news when your trying to quit and I started downing them at 8am last game day. Anyway keep it up, it's been relitivley easy for me, but I have pretty good motivation.

Good job SIMV.....it's been about 9 months since I quit. I was smoking a carton every week. After the third week, it got alot easier. It's just a bitch to break all of the triggers that make you want to smoke. The first time you do anything without a cigarette sucks. After that, it's easy. Good luck.

Yeah, My cravings aren't really that bad and I smoked for a little over 9 years... I'm pretty surprised.

Slick... I drank from Thursday through Monday night and had no problem with needing a cigarette. Okay, a little bit on Thursday but not too bad.
