Just sayin': Keep in mind, it gives Ohio State a big recruiting advantage when their players are successful in the NFL.

Both things can be true; guy is objectively talented; guy was insanely productive and efficient for a vast majority of the season; guy also struggled with disguised coverages and ferocious pass rush.

It’s okay to go into an off season with things to learn and improve. Hell, Day did too. Those losses fall on the staff just as much as him if not more.

Ultimately ha seems to have the intellectual capacity to learn the complex defenses and process. Arthur Smith will probably help a bit as it relates to more snap reads and identifying coverages.

I lean this way too. I don’t have the stats to back it up, but I’m pretty sure we saw similar with CJ in his first year. If Day knows he has a guy for two years, at least, I think he’s inclined to focus on development far more in the first year. Don’t lose games in the first year and then go win games in the second? Hope that’s the case.

Just sayin': I've always thought that the NCAA should just use the NFL ball. The NCAA should make the transition to the NFL as easy as possible. I'm guessing that the specific ball used by each all comes down to the money.

Yeah I always wanted CFB rules closer to NFL. Like make the WR catch rules with 2 instead 1 foot for example.
