Archie Manning’s Manning Passing Academy, founded in 1996, has evolved from a modest regional camp to the nation’s premier quarterback camp, attracting over 1,300 campers, top college QBs, and football VIPs to south Louisiana annually.

Chambliss, Arch headline QBs at 30th annual Manning Passing Academy. See who else is attending.
This will be a special year for the camp, which starts Thursday and concludes June 28. The MPA will celebrate its 30th year of operation and will welcome more than 1,300 campers, 120 coaches and 40 college quarterbacks to Nicholls State University for the four-day aerial bacchanalia. ESPN and Omaha Productions will be in town to document the landmark occasion.
“Thirty years is hard to imagine,” the elder Manning said. “When we started it, we just thought we’d have a nice little regional camp, a Louisiana-Alabama-Mississippi kinda thing. We never imagined it would turn into what it is today.”
This year’s camp will again feature a roster of elite college quarterbacks. Among the top names scheduled to attend are seven of Pro Football Focus’ top-11 returnees for the 2026 season:
Julian Sayin (No. 1, Ohio State), Arch Manning (No. 3, Texas), Trinidad Chambliss (No. 4, Ole Miss), CJ Carr (No. 5, Notre Dame), Jayden Maiava (No. 6, USC), Noah Fifita (No. 10, Arizona) and Gunner Stockton (No. 11, Georgia).
Other top QBs committed include Steve Angeli (Syracuse), Bear Bachmeier (BYU), CJ Bailey (NC State), Ryan Browne (Purdue), Kevin Jennings (SMU), Kyle Lowe (Southeastern Louisiana), Owen McCown (Texas-San Antonio), Alberto Mendoza (Georgia Tech), Drew Mestemaker (Oklahoma State), Marcel Reed (Texas A&M), Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele (California), Kamario Taylor (Mississippi State), Conner Weigman (Houston) and Demond Williams (Washington).
“I don’t think there’s ever been as many good college quarterbacks as there are this year,” Manning said. “We had more requests than we could honor.”
As usual, there were a few high-profile withdrawals or declines. Brendan Sorsby recently decided to cancel his plans to attend the camp after he became embroiled in an eligibility controversy at Texas Tech......

Sorsby announced this week that he plans to bypass his final year of college and enter the supplemental NFL draft.

The camp again will serve as a family reunion for the Manning clan. A third generation of Mannings —
the children of Cooper, Eli and Peyton —
have become regulars.....
Marshall Manning, a precocious eighth grader at the Baylor School in Chattanooga, Tennessee, will attend as a camper. May Manning, Cooper’s daughter, works the camp as a marketer for Excel Sports Management. Charlie Manning, Eli’s only son, is still a few years away from attending, Archie said.
“The camp is always one of my favorite times of the years because I get to see my boys and my grandkids,” Archie said. “In 30 years, none of them has ever missed a single minute or left before the camp is over. That means a lot to me.”
