I really wanted that Fiesta win - nothing but respect for Texas and McCoy though. He came over and talked/ prayed with our seniors. I'm sure he see's a lot of Vince in Terrelle, so it must be interesting to catch that now that he's the upperclassmen.

Wonder what they said though?

A YEAR OF SEASONING

Tressel has been impressed with the way Terrelle Pryor is picking up the Buckeye offense, new wrinkles and more importantly his ability to read defenses. Last year, Pryor got by on talent alone because there wasn?t much time to heap strategy on his shoulders.

A: Since it's a near-lock that it'll be a three-man race between Sam Bradford, Colt McCoy and Tim Tebow, it's going to take something special for someone else to break in. One team that folks really aren't talking about as being in the mix for the national title chase, because they don't want to see them there again, is Ohio State. I think the Buckeyes will get by a young USC team at home and have a decent shot at going 12-0 with a healthy Terrelle Pryor. If he is healthy all year, I think he could put up some very efficient numbers. Plus, and I know the Heisman is not the MVP, but of Oklahoma, Texas, Florida or Ohio State, which team would be most adversely affected if their starting quarterback went down to injury?

In my opinion, that's Ohio State and it's not even close. They have retooled their offense to fit around Pryor's skill set. If he goes down, they don't have a Pryor clone sitting on the bench. So he would be my dark horse candidate, as I think he could command much of the Midwestern and northeast vote. However, I think Colt McCoy is going to be tough to hold off; he is who I would have voted for last year.

One advantage that Pryor has in the Heisman races for the next two (hopefully three) years is that he already has the hype on his side. Everybody already expects this kid to compete, so the ladder he must climb to prove himself worthy of the award is not nearly as high as others (except for the big three of Bradford, Tebow and McCoy who have already proven themselves).

If it can't be Pryor I really hope its McCoy. Archie being the only one to have 2 Heismans really is a special distinction.

Dez Bryant reminds me of Terrelle Owens. I think top 5 is right. I'd put McCoy #1 or 2(Tebow being the other). Masoli at #9 is too high. He should be around 20-25. Arrelious Benn is ridiculously low. He's going to go on and become what David Boston should've been. Very talented receiver.

I felt like Bowmen, druggie/criminal or not, should have been in the top 25 over guys like Golden Tate or Dwyer. Same with Mt. Cody, should have been in the top 25. Pryor seems good at 18 but I wouldn't put him any higher than that until the season starts.
