A YEAR OF SEASONING
Tressel has been impressed with the way Terrelle Pryor is picking up the Buckeye offense, new wrinkles and more importantly his ability to read defenses. Last year, Pryor got by on talent alone because there wasn?t much time to heap strategy on his shoulders.
?He?s had a lot of experiences that have kind of accumulated to get him to where he is today,? Tressel said. ?He?s one of those guys ... he remembers everything. Probably the only experience he hasn?t had yet that he?s in the midst of is being the guy going into a year.
?From the moment the ?08 season ends to the ?09 season begins in Columbus and all over Ohio they?re talking football. From that day forward, he had to begin to handle that offseason of expectations and discussions and adulation. That?s the final piece of the puzzle he?s got to handle and have a grip on. ... He?s progressing, and that?s all you can ask.?
