QB/WR Terrelle Pryor ('10 Rose, '11 Sugar MVP)

That list had Dez Bryant at 3 and Colt McCoy at 4. Also, it had Mesoli, the UO QB at 9. Seemed like bad choices to me.

I hadn't seen that quote from Rey Rey about TP, haha cool.

I think Dez Bryant is significantly better than Michael Crabtree. He is going to up huge numbers this year and easily be the first WR taken in the draft. And he likely won't slide due to attitude problems.

For me the most significant thing is, there is 1 player from the Big10. One other player in the Big10 is Bowman, who is on the outside looking in. Is the Big10 so bad that there's just one player in the Top 30? That too, an unproven QB? At this time I'll put PSU's Royster ahead of Pryor based on performance at least.

Well, can you think of any other Big Ten player who would deserve to be in that list? Benn, Pryor, and Bowman are really the only potential superstars in the league. Go team by team:

Illinois? Benn, but he has underachieved.
Indiana? Nein.
Iowa? Are you kidding?
Michigan? Lol.
Sparty? Nothing.
Minnesota? Maybe in hockey...
Northwestern? Nada.
tOSU? Pryor. Last year we had more, but not this year.
State Penn? Bowman. Clark is good, but not a superstar.
Purdue? Uh uh.
Bucky? No way. Clay is good, but not elite.

The conference lacks a true superstar outside of Pryor. Maybe somebody will emerge this year, but right now I can't think of anybody.

Lots of guys in this league have that kind of potential I think. Juice Williams if he finds consistency can be one of the top 5 QBs in the country as a senior, Eric Decker, Brandon Graham, Darryl Clark, Evan Royster, plus the young guys who haven't gotten much of a shot yet or can break out this year like DeVier Posey and Thad Gibson.

I disagree, if clay was playing for oklahoma or usc he would considered a superstar in the making..

I believe its weber from minnesota, maybe he isnt there yet but he is young i expect a lot from him still. Decker isnt chopped liver either.

Juice seems perinially ready to break out.

I'm a homer but Justin Boren might fit here too.

Clark, bowman, and royster shouldnt be too far from the list either

what I mean is that he's yet to reach his full potential.

Might have something to do with him only playing 2 years. Not sure how many true sophs have had over 1,000 yards receiving in Big-10 history. Reps for anyone who looks that up. He did earn 1st team all Big-10 honors from the media last year, BTW.

As for Pryor being high on these preseason lists, I think he deserves it. He showed an incredible amount of maturity for a true frosh. Add in unlimited athletic potential and you have a future superstar. It's only a matter of time. PSU fans can bitch and moan all they want about him being rated higher than Darryl Clark but even they know deep down inside he's going to dominate soon enough.

Right now BTN is showing OSU-Wisky when the boy became a MAN!! I love watching this game the way he took over in the final drive. Good things to come for this young MAN!!

Watching this too. Got to give props to Wisky. They were laying the wood this game but Pryor went and manned up on them.

I was at the OSU coaches golf outing today and just about every football coach was there. At the end Coach Tressel gave a speech, and among other things, talked about the recent conditioning that the team just completed. He talked about 40 times that were recently timed and Tres said that Pryor ran the fastest on the team, a 4.33.

That's some serious speed for a QB.
