He beat Laamar Thomas and Brandon Saine?
Sorry for doubting but more proof would be nice.

I understand the doubt, but there isn't much proof I can provide. Tressel did say that Lamaar ran a 4.38, and Saine ran a 4.4. He also mentioned Travis Howard and Ray Small ran 4.45's.

TP's got an amazingly long stride. He can cover more ground in one step than any of the other speedsters. In the entire '08 season, I only saw him do a full out sprint a couple of times. The last TD vs. UW was one, he had one against Minny, maybe one vs. ILL, but most of the time, he was on the balls of his feet, setting up moves. Teddy Ginn had a long stride. There were other players with similar builds as Teddy, but his stride set him apart. It doesn't suprise me that TP is one of the fastest flat out runners on the team, but his football speed is even beyond that. Terrelle Pryor will make you jump out of your seat several times a game this season. Mark it.

Honestly, the only time I think TP looked like he was full sprint was in that long 50ish yard run in the first quarter against MSU on that opening drive. I thought a defender had an angle on him, but he blew by him, and another defender shoe-stringed him. Hey was so close to busting a 90 yarder on that one.
