I seem to remember TP doing similar against Petey and USC as a freshman. Maybe even against an all american safety?


For all the talk about what if TP was in an Urban Meyer style offense, I am equally excited to see him in an Andy Reid offense. If he were to get the job, I would draft him in fantasy in a heartbeat.

Well, Oakland was a shitty place for an immature QB to get drafted. I'm no NFL expert, but Carr will be much better there because of his maturity and, let's face it, it can't be much worse. I have no idea what transpired in Seattle, but I do believe that in a stable environment TP can be an average NFL starter. My definition of success for him isn't to be elite, but rather to have a long career and become a passer by the time his athleticism wanes.

I predict he will never overcome his penchant for using his feet rather than being a pocket passer as most successful pro QB's are. I don't think he ever matured enough at tOSU and won't at the pro level either.

A lot of that is on him, but some of it is on his coaches. You COULD try to teach him mechanics and stepping up in the pocket and everything that makes a pocket passer successful in the NFL......or you could take the easy way and have him run for it after a couple seconds. He was drafted/signed by whichever teams drafted/signed him BECAUSE he can run....he isn't then going to be told by those same people to not run.

If Nick Siciliano couldn't turn him into a pocket passer nobody can.

True, at the same time they ARE the coaches who will fire him for not producing.....again.

Mccluster is with the Titans now. Charles, Kniles davis, thomas and travis kelcy though should be a good tandem of guys to build around. KC still needs to go after a WR1 Bowe is not the answer anymore and paid way too much for what he contributes(lack of contribution) to the offense.

I know I'm a homer, I know I see the world through scarlet and gray lenses. Having said that, no-one will EVER convince me that Terrell Pryor or Troy Smith could do ANY worse or look any worse than Ryan Lindley did against the Carolina Panthers. 82 yards, 1 TD 2 INT. 82 yards against the Carolina Panthers. And the pathetic part was that Arizona was STILL in that game up until the 4th quarter. Am I insane here? Would either Pryor or Smith cost substantially more than Lindley? Seriously, I don't get it.

Having said all of that, I think Pryor could have been an outstanding WR or TE in the NFL had he so chosen to go the receiving route. I think that decision could have made him TONS of money. I watched Antwaan Randle El play at IU (5 foot 10) and I recall how absolutely amazing he was to watch on the field. I look at Pryor and he made Randle El look like a HS QB. I think Pryor could have easily matched Randle El's competence in receiving, except I think where Atwaan had him on speed (by a small margin), Pryor is just as athletic but with size and strength. I think Pryor could have been a big time impact receiver. It kills me to watch that much raw talent go to waste. Just my 2 cents.

Randle-El was much quicker and more maneuverable than Pryor is It's like comparing a Porsche to a funny car. I don't know that Pryor could make the cuts necessary to be a good WR, although he might make a great end zone fade and decent long ball specialist
