BREAKING NEWS! Reporters discover college kid is bad driver!

Film at eleven.

A cynic could say that this is evidence of TP believing that the rules don't apply to him.

But we don't have any cycnics posting lately, so I had to post that. :wink2:

Pulling up to the WHAC in a $35K Nissan sports car the day all hell breaks loose and smiling and waving at reporters shows he's either incredibly insincere or...well, I'll stop there.

Hey now, it's obvious that his real car is in the shop for a...uh...oil change. This is simply a loaner. I'm sure he will return it when the oil change is complete, sometime around April of 2012.

An NFL official tells ESPN's Adam Schefter that the supplemental draft will be held sometime in July, as usual, provided there are applicants.

"So far, there have been no applicants," the official said. "If there is one, the supplemental draft would be held mid-to-late July, no later than 10 days before the first training camp opens." According to ESPN's Joe Schad, it's now "very much in doubt" that Terrelle Pryor will play for Ohio State in 2011. Pryor reportedly drove as many as eight cars while with the Buckeyes. Ex-Florida CB Janoris Jenkins and Notre Dame WR Michael Floyd are also candidates for the supplemental draft.

I have to assume TP knows his Buckeye career is likely, if not certainly, over as it is. If Miller, or whoever the hell, plays even a modicum of well, TP and JT might have been interlocked, but Fickell doesn't owe him shit, and I doubt he's going to kill any chemistry they've developed by putting him back in there. Just MYO IMO.

Maybe if he is planning on going into the draft it explains his 350Z? Maybe he hired an agent that gave him an advance to buy a car and he is using the WHAC to prepare for his draft workouts.

If he is jumping ship, he has a long haul ahead of him. I see him being compared a lot to Marcus Vick coming out of college (solid skills, bad reputations).

This has though officially left a sour taste in my mouth for big-named high school athletes.

If SI could do this to any school they wanted, they'd take them all down. SI is a business. They're going to sell a ton of magazines, they've already gotten a ton of web hits. If they can do this to everyone, they'd do it. They have nothing to gain by not doing it as much as they can.

Do you think 10 consecutive issues of "you'll never believe what school X is covering up" would sell? You don't think people would get tired after 2 or 3 and lose interest in college football? I don't think you've thought this scenario through.

I don't see how he can either way. He's going to be vilified and it's going to be mostly his own doing.

I have the opposite reaction to his sugar bowl "apology" now. It rings pretty hollow when he continues to drive around in shiny new cars while the entire program is under investigation. Pulling up to the WHAC in a $35K Nissan sports car the day all hell breaks loose and smiling and waving at reporters shows he's either incredibly insincere or...well, I'll stop there.

I'd go back and check the blue book for a 2007 350z. You are over 12k off. It's is in his moms name. Something does not smell right, but let's keep the facts around.

Understanding the rules of this board..

I would like to see TP move-on, personally. I feel that he doesn't care for his team, the program, or the University.

As someone who has stood up to fellow posters and fans for TP, I can't believe the stupidity displayed by pulling up (and waving to reporters) in his blacked-out 350z.

Thanks, but no thanks TP. This die-hard is ready to move on. I hope Luke is, too.

What about the other cars? It's not just the Nissan. Either way, rolling up in a sports car with temp tags with all this going on is incredibly bad form. It's just common sense to me...

I totally agree. The white challenger and other have said to be loners cause his chargers motor blew up. Something it not right here I know that. I've had people come up to me saying "Ohio state bought Pryor an 80k sports car". Yu know how it goes. 35-45-60-80.
