In 25 years from now, when people hear his name, the first thing most people are gonna think of is Tattoos.

Because when people hear Troy Smith's name the first thing they think of is cell phone bills? Don't be asinine. Terrelle Pryor's career isn't even over yet.

Fuck everyone else around the country.

What will Buckeye nation think of when it comes to Pryor? I don't really know.

BTW I'm not saying you're wrong, but I could really not care less what the rest of the people in the nation think, especially since before Tuesday at least 85% of them were extremely jealous of Ohio State for various different reasons.

He's just a kid. Yeah he's made plenty of mistakes...but I remember my college days, under absolutely ZERO microscope, and the mistakes I made were FAR worse. It doesn't excuse him and hopefully he's learning to be the kind of young man everyone wants him to be, but sheesh I hope we at least let him finish out his days here before we determine if his legacy is tarnished.

I want to hear from what other people think what Pryor's legacy will be at tOSU. He has been pretty solid on the field but the off-field stuff has not been very pretty.
Depends what happens at the end of 2011. If he, somehow, leads us back into the National Championship and we win it, then I think that'll be his legacy.

As far what I think of him, I think he's an athlete who never got a fair shake. Pryor has honestly been the most scrutinized and unfairly treated college athlete I've ever seen. Every time he throws an errant pass or makes a tiny mistake, people jump all over his jock. Every time he says something a little non-PC ESPN or other journalists can't wait to jump all over him. It's always why I could always understand his visible frustrations on the field and his non-PC tweets. If I was under THAT much scrutiny and pressure, I'd probably let my emotions boil over a bit.

Now you can say that he brought it on himself by drawing out his recruiting process but there have been PLENTY of top recruited athletes who have pulled stuff like this and haven't been nearly as dissected as Pryor has. It almost seems like the fact that he chose Ohio State pissed off the media off, which wouldn't be surprising given the rocky relationship between Tressel and the media.

But those are my thoughts.

I think it depends on how his career goes after OSU. Two examples could be Maurice Clarrett and Cris Carter. People remember MoC for his troubles but C.C. for catching TD's. Carter still has his legacey, whereas Clarrett is just trying to get his life together...Buckeye fans are proud to say Carter went to OSU.

Chris Carter wasn't without his little bit of controversy as well...

That said: Pryor is 3-0 vs scUM. Rose Bowl & Sugar Bowl MVP and one bad 1st quarter in Madison, Wisc. from playing for a national championship.

Let's see how this year pans out though.
