In my row, some kid snuck in 5 (yes 5) of his friends, we were like sardines in there.

I dealt with this last year. Every flippin' home game we had to deal with the same group sneaking their friends in and crowding everyone else in our section. I came really close to being a dick and telling an usher but I eventually just got used to it. I think I would rather just tailgate and watch the game on T.V.

I getting to old for this [censored].

Fuck that...telling an usher to kick their sorry asses out is not being a dick in any way. If they want space, then they should buy a fucking ticket...

Was looking over some stats... I'm NOT saying that TP is Tim Tebow, but...

Passing Statistics
NAME..........CMP..........ATT..........YDS..........CMP%..........YDS/A..........TD..........INT..........RAT

Tim Tebow..........84..........132..........1159..........63.6..........8.78..........8..........4..........151.3

Passing Statistics

TP..........102..........184..........1408..........55.4..........7.65..........12..........9..........131.5

Tim Tebow..........121..........466..........3.9..........30..........6

Rushing Statistics

TP..........101..........471..........4.7..........43..........5

These are NOT sophomore versus sophomore stats... These are stats from THIS YEAR. Tebow is a Heisman finalist by almost all accounts. TP is having a "horrible" season. Tebow is said to be the greatest college football player EVER by many... meanwhile some people are callling for TP to play wide receiver (not necessarily here - they were probably banned). I agree that Pryor has some things to work on as a player, etc., etc. But come on... he's a handful of sophomoric INTs from being as efficient of a passer as Tebow is, too.

Can we agree to trust the coaches here?

Tebow only has four interceptions this year? I swear I've seen like 7 with my own eyes.

Nice comparisons of the stats there. I was looking as well at TP's stats relative to other high profile players and 1900 total yards and 17 total tds aren't terrible at all.

It's really not. Terrelle has been putting up great yardage statistics all year out side of Wisky and USC. Illinois too.

Already this year he's had like 2 games in the top 10 yardage games in OSU history. And with SCUM on the schedule (excuse me while I :slappy:) it's almost sure to be 3. Maybe 4 with the Aggies coming up.

you forgot that Tebow plays in SEC and TP plays in terrible B10 Conference.
Seriously though...Tebow deserves all the hype as one of the top college players. He is good and the team around him is good too.

Difference is that Tebow has a legendary track record, and has also had some strong performences in big games. Pryor's stats pretty much get padded against mediocre to weak opposition. If you pulled his numbers against the better competition they are pretty poor.

I posted a stat in the Heisman thread yesterday: Tebow has (EDIT) equal [strike] more [/strike] turnovers to combined rushing and passing TDs in his 5 SEC games this year.

A similar stat comparison can also be made with TP and Colt McCoy - Colt's passing stats are better, but he doesn't have very many rushing yards/TDs this year. The total offense numbers are basically a wash.

McCoy 182-of-254 (71.7%) for 1806, 14 TD, 8 INT, 059 carries for 104, 1 TD

Total-offense: 313 plays for 1910 yards, (6.10/play), 15 TD, 8 INT

Pryor 102-of-184 (55.4%) for 1408, 12 TD, 9 INT, 101 carries for 471, 5 TD

Total-offense: 285 plays for 1879 yards, (6.59/play), 17 TD, 9 INT

Tebow 084-of-132 (63.6%) for 1159, 08 TD, 4 INT, 121 carries for 466, 6 TD

Total offense: 253 plays for 1625 yards (6.42/play), 14 TD, 4 INT

My point is not that TP should be a Heisman candidate this year, but that his stats aren't bad.

On a separate note, the other two ghuys should NOT be Heisman frontrunners, but that discussion is for the Heisman thread.

Thanks, BB, I hadn't been to the Heisman thread... think we're on the same page here...
