I hate to make comparisons because I know TP is much younger in age than TS but the comparisons at playing time and starts we may be in trouble. I am very nervous because TS was progressing nicely in his second year at qb. You could see it about every game in 05 that TS was getting better and better as the year went on. Is age a bigger factor than playing time? I have no idea. I suppose we are about to see for the next few years. Go Bucks

He lowered his shoulder once and ran over a safety. I was kind of iffy on it as it was his throwing shoulder. Also he looked of a backer on a slant to Posey. He has flashes but isn't nearly consistant and can be scary bad at times.

I don't know if it is any help, but Vince Young developed pretty late. Very sporadic until the Rose Bowl against tsun where he broke out.

Made the mistake of visiting Scout (premium) yesterday and one would think TP is the worst QB in the history of the sport and should be immediately moved to WR.

So, I just wanted to post and thank everyone for providing level headed discussion and constructive criticism on TP's development in this thread. It's something I've come to appreciate from this board.

TP was the first recruit I ever payed attention to and because of that he's become one of my favorite players. He has struggled but its too early to give up on him. He has too much potential not to do anything. I think he'll be just fine. Tsun will be his 'breakout" game and we'll be off to the races for our 2010/2011 Championship. :oh:

If we see a similar meltdown, would you be opposed to letting him play a series so that Pryor has an opportunity to cool down? Maybe the kid will thrive in the situation. Nobody knows until we actually see him play in a situation where the game is on the line.

Boyd: Nope, wouldn't be playing right now. Redshirt.

Henton: Nope. If you think TP did a bad job taking care of the ball...Henton was even more egregious with throwing it into coverage.

Terrelle is still the man for the job. I think he needs a week of practice where he's allowed to be hit. His brain kind of fritzes out when the blitz is on. He needs more reps where he can learn without changing the outcome of games.

I would like to see Joe play a half or a quarter if only to give TP a chance to watch the game from the sidelines. Maybe this would help the game slow down for him. I am also surprised that the staff never seems to get in TP's face and calm him down on the sidelines after a bad series. It seems to me from what I have seen, he just comes off and sits on the sidelines with little input from the coaching staff.
