The same people arguing in favor of Terrelle were the same people saying they wished TP ran with more purpose like Cam Newton did.
No one is depreciating anything Terrelle accomplished. But Braxton is a better open field runner than him. Terrelle consistently balled up as if he was protecting his knees because he knew that's how DB's would try to tackle him.

False. Pryor was a MUCH better passer as Freshman. However, I don't consider that a shot a Miller. I'm just giving my position on the topic. You know, so we can discuss it. On the discussion board. God forbid that there are divergent opinions.
Also, "depreciating Pryor" makes one less of a "fan"?
Personally, I think Braxton is a better open field runner, and is better at running North/South than running outside and losing yards. While Pryor liked to bounce it outside, as Josh has repeatedly mentioned, Braxton looks to go right upfield.

No scientific evidence to back up these claims, but...
I tended to scream at my TV a lot more when TP was running than when Miller is running. I remember a couple plays in the fiesta bowl against Texas when TP had green space and trotted out of bounds a yard short of the 1st down marker.
TP may have gotten a 14 yard gain on some plays but there was 20 yards available if he cut it up and trucked someone. The only question is.... Is that the smartest thing to do? Probably not. I think Braxton will learn eventually that it isn't worth getting popped for 5 additional yards. So far it seems like Miller is trying to score every time he tucks and runs. He is shifty enough that he should avoid those direct hits. We'll see. I'm just going to sit back and enjoy the show.
