Honestly, I don't think it is arguable. Braxton Miller is leagues ahead of Terrelle Pryor as a thrower as a freshman. His mechanics and arm strength are much better and his decision making and pocket presence is better at the same stage.

I know its a little OT concerning Miller, but its amazing the level of QB play we've had under Tressel since he's been here. Krenzel won a national championship, Smith won a Heisman among other things, Pryor has won two of his three BCS appearances, and Miller looks to continue the trend of top-flight QBs.

I can't wait to see Miller in the 5 games this year, along with taking us to multiple Big Ten Championship Games in the next few years.

Adding to that, Pryor also didn't get into the program until Fall practice, whereas Miller will have had both Spring and Fall to get into the program and learn the playbook.

I would imagine that you guys will start a mobile QB against us, at any rate. The Buckeye coaches can see film like anyone else, and they'll realize quickly that a pocket passer will get eaten alive by Pelini's defense. You'll have to have a guy who can make a couple of quick reads, and if it's not there, break the pocket and get downfield - quite quickly.

I have no idea what kind of defense we'll be running this year, but with a mobile QB, some talented WRs and a decent RB against us last year we inevitably went with a "Peso" package, essentially a mashup of the Nickel and Dime, with an oversized DB/undersized LB acting in a hybrid position. Our guys are well-schooled in this package and should be able to run it effectively, even without Peso Specialist Eric Hagg lost to the NFL.

I'm gathering Braxton Miller is the choice, and that he's both an accomplished passer as well as fleet of foot. Looking at his highlights [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QmYT5QUd-QA"]HERE[/ame], he looks an awful lot like our Redshirt Freshman [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qoGLwAADSzo"]Brion Carnes[/ame].
