QB/WR Braxton Miller (B1G POY, National Champion, OSU HOF)

Progression is a bad argument? And you talk all the time in the recruiting forum about tempering expectations, yet Braxton was "supposed" to be a Heisman candidate. Pre-season? Yeah, he was expected to be one of the front runners, but point me in the direction of the last Heisman winner that missed multiple games due to injury. This has nothing to do with being a "scarlet glassed homer". If you can't see that Braxton has progressed & still has room for growth, than I don't know what to tell you. I also stated that I believe he should come back for his Senior year, as he obviously has some things to improve on. But to say he's not close to being a QB, is laughable.

You're still not seeing my point. I stated he's not close to being a qb on the professional level! And he's not! It doesn't take a genius to see that. I never said he didnt progress, and he does have room to grow. My comments are based on him claiming to be ready for the NFL. And he's clearly not. Not matter what stats you want to put out there, thinking he's ready for the pro's is laughable and he's going to make a big mistake ifn he wants to leave early as he's only an above average qb in college. Hes still just an athlete trying to play qb, if you can't see that based on his body of work, then idk what to tell you

Not what you said. Here is what you said:

Go back to school and don't even think about the NFL, cfl, or arena football. Not close to being a qb.

That is very different from just saying he is not ready to be an NFL quarterback.

I've seen your points, as there's more than just one.

- You don't think he's ready for the NFL. I agreed there & said he should return.

- You don't think he's close to being a QB; anywhere for that matter. I disagreed & gave stats/facts that say otherwise. Give a couple coaches throughout the country a call & see if they'd take Braxton Miller as their QB. Me thinks there would be more saying yes than no.

I HIGHLY doubt more coaches would take Braxton than you think. But time will tell. If he decides to enter the draft this year he's a very late round pick. But it is what it is for him. I have already stated I'd love for him to come back and progress more

Yes. Love this guy. Most people forget that he is a young man making the mistakes necessary to learn in life. He has been given tools to work with that most of us can't even imagine having. The heart he showed last night sealed the deal for me that he is one of the greatest Buckeyes ever and with one more year he'll have the accolades to prove it.

I do hope he gets to work with George Whitfield a little more this summer, it obviously worked well for him last year. The WR group will be the best he's had to use on Saturday's yet and all of the TE's he has are excellent. Wilson will have another year under his belt and be utilize a little more. Zeke will pick up where Carlos left off. It's up to the Oline meshing to give Braxton time.

I would like to see his title changed to reflect that he is now the all time BiG conference individual award winner. That is really special considering the players that have come out of this conference over the years. Start the Heisman campaign now.

Be the leader we need you to be Brax.
