QB/WR Braxton Miller (B1G POY, National Champion, OSU HOF)

I'm not saying I'm questioning his toughness but I remember Pryor having to be carried off the field by two teammates after playing the Sugar Bowl with a PCL tear. How many times has Braxton been knocked out of games to minor injuries?
If this was scUM Braxton would have been back in. This is the most cautious approach to a season from an Urban Meyer team I can remember.

B Miller's injury is more serious than expected? Now Meyer says that "there is a chance" that he will play next week. A bit worried here. :(

It's probably an illustration of not showing your hand until you have to.

I'm sure Ohio State will MRI him early this week just to get a complete picture (if they haven't already). Braxton just needs to rest 1-3 days (if it's a sprain) and rehab/strengthened as needed.

I love me some B. Miller, but so far it's difficult to overlook his fragility. He's a terrific athlete and he's progressing greatly. I hope he can stay healthy the rest of his career at tOSU (and long after), but I see more time missed due to injury in his near future (over the next 2 years). He just has trouble avoiding it.

If I'm Braxton, I'm wearing the brace on my left knee for the rest of the year as just a precaution (regardless if it's hurt or not). If it doesn't hinder movement, I'd wear it.

Just sayin': Carlos Hyde wore one last year (after his knee injury) and I don't think it significantly effected his play.

I also remember Miller playing every snap of the PSU at Happy Valley coming off of a concussion vs. Purdue.

Don't forgot Pryor was 6-6 230 lb specimen who rarely got tackled cleanly, while Miller is much more human in that regard.

How do you know that the injuries are minor? Are you a medical doctor?

Miller did NOT get a concussion vs. Purdue last year. They checked him for a concussion as well as a broken rib and they both came out negative. And if he had suffered a concussion, he wouldn't have played even one snap the next game.

I'd consider the injuries pretty minor if he is able to return later that quarter... Has he ever been unavailable for a game because of injury? Yet how many times has he been knocked out of games, quarters, etc... I just don't view him as a tough QB. All the talent in the world but lacks toughness. I wouldn't really consider Miller small either.

He also did not run the same way that Braxton runs. Braxton runs a lot more in the center of the field and makes a lot of hard cuts. Pryor ran a lot towards the sides and would fall like a house of cards if someone hit him near the knees. Pryor had a great stiff arm and was very fast, but I don't think he wanted to plant his foot and make a cut in fear of someone taking out his knee.
