QB/WR Braxton Miller (B1G POY, National Champion, OSU HOF)

That may be a blessing in disguise... There were a few runs where I thought he was running a bit too hard. Don't get me wrong, I love his mindset in trying to pick up those extra yards. But I hate to see him break down like Denard broke down last season.

He's not 5'8", 190 lbs like Denard.

And since this is my first reply to you. God, I hate that obnoxious watermelon shooter gif you have. Makes me want to skip by your posts which are the opposite of the signature and usually well written. :)

 Sorry Bill.... I'll shop for a new one JUST for you.

I rolled my ankle pretty bad playing basketball back in May (full jump, landed with sole of my foot pointed outward). It was excruciating at first, but me being a dumbass went ahead and played on it for another hour and a half. Needless to say I couldn't walk on it at all for a few days, and it bothered me for like 2 months afterward.

I did the exact same thing about 25 years ago. It swelled up like a grapefruit that night and I was on crutches for a few days.

I hate to say I told you so, but Miller did exactly to our defense what I said he'd do - he dropped back to pass, there was nobody open, so he scrambled for big yards.

Again and again and again. As much as you guys loved watching it, it made me that ill to see. He is a gamer, he's a great runner, and if his passing game develops I have serious concerns for our trip to The Shoe next year.

Our current theory on how to stop Brax next year is secret, but it involves ninjas breaking into his room the night before the game and one of these:

I'm not telling you anything else - don't want to give away the gameplan. You know.

Most teams will look like crap without their starting QB.
Brax has given us hope for the future. The whole team sees this.
The beauty of college football is watching kids grow. It can be painful at times, though! :( But a year in the weight room will do wonders for his durability.
Get better, quick, Brax! We all need you! :oh:

Good player but a fumble waiting to happen every time he runs...secure that ball, young man!

I'll take that risk over firing passes into the first ten rows of the stands, even when not under duress.

I've done a number of rolled ankles... and each one is different. I've had super painful rolls that ended up being ok pretty quickly, and others that kept me out for a couplefew weeks... I'm guessing trainers and Brax won't know more until the swelling goes down some (assuming it swells like a normal roll) and they see how much strength he has in it. And get him some more damn tape!
