I'm not sure I'd blame that fumble on carelessness. It appeared he had both arms around the ball as he was going down and it was just ripped out. This is where a year in the weight room can make a huge difference. 12 months from now I'm not sure that ball comes out on the exact same play.

On the slo-mo replay it looked like the ball was coming loose a split second before the DB ripped it away.

It wasn't a blame, dude. Just observation on how he carries the ball when he runs.

And no (to other poster), I was not advocating Bauserman either. Just read what the post said and don't assumed anything, please.

Yes. Ball was slipping when LBer took it. Freshman will tend to tire just because they haven't been in the training system long enough. Not use to college football.
