QB/WR Braxton Miller (B1G POY, National Champion, OSU HOF)

Braxton Miller looked great at times... Rushed the rest of the time. He couldn't drop back and pass because there were D-linemen and LB's in the backfield all night. Props to Glenville, I've never seen Wayne play a faster team, including East St. Louis (who was one of the fastest teams in the nation last year). Wayne and Miller will bounce back from this loss, and won't play as speedy a team until the playoffs.

Just noticed this exerpt on bucknuts 'Bucket of Bullets' about Braxton:

Mr. Bucknuts' Bucket Of Bullets: Sept. 13 Edition | General Article

* Braxton?s got next?We are all projecting Wayne?s super QB Braxton Miller as the heir apparent to current superstar Terrelle Pryor.. Yes, he is a cousin of former Buckeye Dee Miller and the timing matches up well to where Braxton could follow Terrelle as the Buckeye starter (think 2012-14 or thereabouts).
But one of our guys reported a disturbing undercurrent when they were with Brax in Dayton two weeks ago. The change at quarterbacks coach from Joe Daniels to Nick Siciliano has some of Miller?s ?guidance groups? (entourage?) watching Pryor closely to see how much he develops from his freshman year to his sophomore year. If noticeable development isn?t detected (and don?t get me started there!), Miller could end up starting to look elsewhere. Oh, and it gets better. The same insider mentioned that Florida has been nosing around and could be coming through with an offer.

Meyer's been offering Ohio recruits the past few years. It's inevitable that he's eventually going to steal one. Just hope its not one of the top ones at a position that we can ill afford. I sincerely hope all these predictions are way off base. Time will tell.

Enough...I've cleaned up several posts in this little tangent with swearing and now let's please get the discussion back on Miller...splitting off the rest.

I think it will be Kenneth Guiton. If you watch his recruiting video he can really throw the ball.He can run the ball as well.He will be a 4th year Junior when he takes over for Pryor.I do think Pryor stays for all four years.I think Kenneth Guiton will be a pretty good QB for Ohio State for two years.Oh, and btw I think Kenneth Guiton plays for two years even if we get B.Miller.

Guiton will likely redshirt. So he will be a 3rd year Soph. when/if he becomes the starter...

Wayne benefits from Trotwood's missed conversion try

By Doug Harris, Staff Writer, Dayton Daily News

Trotwood?s Coach Douglass loses temper, accuses officials of bias.

TROTWOOD ? Wayne High School coach Jay Minton believes his team seized a 21-19 comeback win over Trotwood-Madison because of some second-half resolve. But Rams coach Maurice Douglass had a far different version of the game, insisting the officials cost his squad a victory.
. . .
Braxton Miller passed for one TD and ran for two more, including a 13-yarder on fourth-and-1 with 3:55 to go that gave Wayne a 21-13 lead.

Controversial ending to the game... For Trotwood fans. They can't grasp the fact that no matter what the play results in, if you don't line up right, you'll get an illegal procedure. Also, the Trotwood coach claims the refs weren't making calls because the coach on the other sideline "doesn't look like me"... Racist remarks in todays DDN... LINK to Trotwood coach Maurice Douglass' rant.
