holmes didnt drop a touchdown pass you douche.....you have to be the single most annoying butt drip this site has ever been forced to endure.....if i were a mod for one nano-second i would send you to internet nowhere....

that being said troy smith played well, very well.....most especially liked him in the second half when he started to get in a groove....

Hit Holmes in his hands, that's a drop to me. And Di, you don't have to endure him...... the Ignore feature is there for a reason.

My only complaint is in the running too quickly when he buys time out of the pocket. He improved on that in the second half but he needs to figure out when to run and when to look upfield on a more consistent basis.

He played smart football. His laser for an arm is still there. Very accurate. Avoided a lot of sacks by pulling it down and gaining a few yards. Finding Ginn in the 4th on the slant was huge! The ball was thrown perfectly...it took a perfect pass to make that a TD. Only thing I'd like to see Smith improve on is longer passes...he needs to get more air under them.

13-21, 140 yards and a touchdown.....32 yards rushing......needs to hang on to the ball though.

I see a young guy growing into a leader on the field and I see he has a chemistry with Tedd Ginn Jr.......I feel really good about his progress, he doesnt force anything and the deep balls will come in time, the receivers need to make some plays, his numbers couldve been alot better.

I think he is progressing really good right now, we need him to be accurate when he throws and make good decisions, I think he did.

Dihard- Buddy I'm giving my opinion and your'e the one bashing so maybe the mods should give you a look.....

I got carried away last week, but I'm back down to earth so calm down.....

Holmes DID drop the pass it hit him in both hands.. Even if you wanna argue that he couldn't of caught it. You better believe your sweet ass that if he wouldv'e dove that he sure wouldv'e been there. If it touches his hands it should be caught no excuses. I do agree that he settled down in the second half, but that jus shows you what anyone can do when given the chance

Also Dihard in an earlier post I said the pass couldv'e been better thrown but if you're suppose to be Ohio State Star reciever you have to catch anything that close to you.

I am not talking about the old cliche, that if you touch it you shoulda caught it. It hit him in the hands, that is what you use to catch the ball, I don't care if he did a pirouette and then fell down and got back up, that is what a dropped pass is.

the fact that the ball touched his hands is a testiment to holmes skill. it was a terrible pass considering how wide open he was. you can put the blinders on and say that it was a drop, but the reason that play wasnt worth 6 points was more on smith than holmes.

Yeah I agree he does run alittle more than he should, but with time he'll settle down? what you guys think? Right now I think he's just alittle jumpy when it comes to staying back there because he knows he's not getting much time when he drops back.

Very positive day for him today, and hopefully we play better next week.
