QB Troy Smith (2006 Heisman Trophy Winner)

I figured why not... the Oline thing has become a dead horse of it's own and they all just ignored what I thought was a valid point.
But... you are right, nothin' like padding a post count
I need a couple hundred more points to buy an Ohio State logo before the 8th.

I'd NEVER do something like make a useless post just to score an extra point. Then again, what exactly is this post doing here?!?!

I know exactly what you mean.

On the Favre stuff, though, I agree with yourself and the guy you quoted bucks_rock. I can't see GB drafting a QB in the 1st or 2nd before Rogers has even had his shot. On the other hand, I haven't heard anything good about Rogers either. The GM would be setting himself to get raked over the coals.

:topic: how sweet would it be to see AJ and Troy reunited though?

Has anyone heard anything about Troy being at Scores and handing out a lot of cash to the strippers? Then something about one of the strippers saying that after meeting Troy there, she thought he was going to be a great NFL QB...:paranoid:

Jim Rome ran his mouth about it to close his show today. It started off good. Something along the lines of:

Bla bla, QB drafting is a crapshoot. Blah Blah, Troy Smith is the real deal. Blah Blah, he's 100% the real deal, beating tsun 3X, etc etc. Then he went off about how the stripper and tried some lame joke naming the most common stripper names, blah, blah.

What a good way to ruin a good final "burn". And it had nothing to do about me and my man-love for TS, it was just lame.

The stripper is at least as qualified as Mel Kiper to evaluate talent, and she would be a huge ratings boost to the draft coverage, can we expect a new commentator on ESPN in the near future? Plus she can always be introduced as Troy Smith's stripper, that way they get their obligatory negative remark about Ohio State every show. It's win win (for ESPN) really.

This however is not lame. Great post deserving of many greenies!

after pro-day i think he goes early.. heres my ideal draft: browns get ap in the first & troy in the second.

As much as I'd love for the Browns to get Troy, I think he'd get pounded behind that offensive line. AP is fine because Droughns is barely an NFL RB anymore and I don't think Wright is better than AP will be eventually.

They need some younger offensive linemen I think.

I think a good fit for him would be Tampa/Chicago (although I don't think that will happen)/Dallas (which won't happen either)....

Watch Green Bay take him in the 2nd round though or trade up to get him in the late first round.

Dude! don't greenie whore for me! It's just asking for trouble. :tongue2:

If you build it, they will come.

I am just showing off the goods. That would make me the greenie pimp, and you the. . . ! ! !

It was more meant to be a play off the previous post where I ripped Rome for being lame and showed how an amature can show him up.

If I were a bettin man....oh wait, nevermind.

I think Al Davis has the motive and history to take another Heisman winner.

Or does he just wait till they're all washed up? I can't remember.

Off topic but who was the last team tsun beat in a bowl game?:osu:

Noooo. The Raiders are one team I'd hate to see Troy go to. Honestly, I think Troy would fit in perfectly with the Bears. Although I'm not sure that the Bears are willing to give up on Grossman just yet. With a solid team, though, and a good offensive line, Troy would be able to mature and get playing at the same time.
