The funny thing is I have seen Boeckman in HS and he could not be any unprepared than what Zwick and Smith were or his dad would skin him...

At this point I'm totally lost as to what Quarterback could do better because both have played like shit. Smith squandered a prime opportunity yesterday to overtake Zwick, but he proved that he is not a starter.

Mangold/Kudla as QB/RB.

Let's face it, whoever we put back there is going to be under duress for the rest of the season. Let's just get someone sturdy and strong enough to fight off a tackle or two. Maybe make a positive yard every so often. As there will be no throwing of the ball, INT's will no longer be a problem, and both should probably be able to hold onto the ball pretty well.




Better yet, how bout we start punishing oopses. 50 pushups per practice for every pick/fumble. Wind Sprints for missed blocking assignments...

Have to watch a Band member start in your place if your overall performance grades at C or worse...
