QB Tathan Martell (transfer to Miami, transfer to UNLV)

I had never seen Justin Zwick or TroySmith play a game in HS but the consensus was JZ was prepared to play QB and Smith wasn't. Let's slow the roll before we anoint someone.
No one is "anointing" Martell--not sure where you're getting that--but rather pointing out how exceptionally successful at the top HS program in the country, playing against the country's best teams. Zwick's stats and level of competition were no where near what Martell's are. Simply, having a QB with the top-flight talent and attitude of Tate Martell ensures that we have a highly viable option at QB once Burrow and Haskins get their shot.

Okudah is done. OSU leads for Wilson. They'll get Bolden if they want him.

This late surge for Darnay Holmes is absurd.

This whole class is absurd

Not having a better word than absurd to describe this class, is absurd. This class is the shiznittle snip snap sack!

I didn't want to add the last 5 posts, but this is in addition to them all! Willy.gif
I honestly have no words for not only what this class will finish with, but what we currently have! Can everyone imagine that our new norm is top 3 classes and an "off year" on the field is making the CFP...

Think urban had 10 in his 08 class according to scout. Usc had the same

Now that I'm at my PC I double checked... you're referring to 2007. Per Scout, Ohio State actually lead all classes in 2008 with six 5-stars (Pryor, Posey, Sabino, Brewster, Shugarts, and Adams).

Scout does peg the 5-star record at 10 with '07 UF and '07 USC, while Rivals has it at 6 for '14 Bama and '07 USC.

2007 USC basically produced Joe McKnight, Everson Griffen, and no one else that played pro football beyond a coffee cup stay on some practice rosters. 2007 Florida on the other hand was the class with Cam, both Pounceys, Hernandez, Joe Haden, Carlos Dunlap, and Chris Rainey, for starters.

Ah, I thought it might've been 07. Thanks for checking. That disparity in success between those classes is jarring
