QB Rob Schoenhoft (official thread)

Guys, keep in mind, having a quarterback start for "only" one year isn't as bad as it seems.

When they start like this, they have lots of experience in the system already and it doesn't bog down the system for too long allowing other quarterbacks a chance to start later.

Example? Take a look at Matt Flynn at LSU right now. He's only got one year but he's looked great out there and will no doubt be playing in the NFL a year from now.

Stopped at Panera this morning to grab a bagel and coffee and saw Mr. Schoenhoft is on the cover of USA Today (story headline for the BCS standings)... congrats Rob!

I saw that and thought it was strange. Does USA Today normally do that? Like on an article about Rutgers have a big picture of Ray Van Peenen (RB)

Wow is right, this was being discussed a little in the rumor mill. Robbie has struggled with his mechanics, and before his off field problems it seemed that Antonio had passed him a bit. Robbie is a good enough athlete to excel at TE if he puts in the effort. Hopefully it works out and good things come to Robbie.

:( never saw that coming. Wish him the best at TE

Really?

There are a few st x. people on this web site and I think if most answered objectively they'd tell you that Robbie's better position in high school was when he played TE as sophomore.

I don't see this as a bad thing. Robbie is a big kid and a fine athlete.

never heard about him playing some TE in high school. Just stuck on his strong throwing arm but, if he wants to play somehow then, the best for him to see the field
