To Do List for March 2011

01. Relocate family to Nashville to avoid spiteful Buckeye fans
02. Open Twitter account to have yet another medium to attack Buckeye fans
03. Learn lyrics to Rocky Top; sign up for banjo lessons
[strike]04. Issue apologies to players I wrongfully implicated in TatGate[/strike]
05. Prepare preseason AP ballot - make sure to leave Ohio State unranked
06. Buy a new deck of victim cards
07. Move Herbstreit Classic to Knoxville
08. Send Chris Cicero a thank you card
09. Exchange make up tips with Jesse Palmer
10. Claim tax deduction for lost credibility
11. Make lunch plans with Matt McGloin
12. Open new bank account - deposit thirty pieces of silver
13. Search eBay for a pair of gold pants
14. Take a drive around Nashville - get used to SEC speed
15. Find new tanning salon
16. Keep repeating: I'm good enough, I'm smart enough, and dog-gone it, I'm a real Buckeye!

21. Hide golf clubs in case the wife finds out I've been hammering Erin Andrews for 4 years behind her back so she can't do her Elin Nordgren impersonation.

Gator--serious question: from the perspective of an outsider, what do you think of Herbie's statements in post #1385 of this thread, his final AP ballot vs. his previous one as it pertains to OSU (see http://theozone.net/football/2011/herbstreitballot.html), and the general back-and-forth between him and OSU fans?

I'm just curious to hear a non-OSU fan's perspective.

Never saw that before. Um. Wow.

As an SEC fan I approve. (moving several SEC teams over a BCS bowl winning Big-10 team )

As a Buckeye fan, it is a huge slap in the face to drop you to 9. If he did that in light of the already edgy relationship to the fanbase after his prior issues, then he is an idiot. I did not know he was that much of a professional victim. His idiot doing, even if they thought that. But he had to know how it would be perceived. Crying now makes him look like a loser.

So. nm. Carry on.

The other serious issue, to many of us, was when he named names in the Tattoo thing during an ESPN broadcast in December, before the story fully broke and included the names. He included Buckeyes that were never involved, and I'm pretty sure he has yet to apologize for that.

That's been mentioned several times in this thread. But if you want to question our "pent up anger" for the way that BPers are treating Herbie without reading the thread, that's certainly your prerogative.

But that's likely to evoke more responses from BP members like the one you got a little earlier today.

Here was his rationale for it during a softball session from his co-host on ESPN Radio in CBus:

And like always, he trots out his manipulative tactics and martyrdom as blockades when OSU fans criticize him.
